i ain't proud to be a singaporean.
not at least if u were the person who got "said" by people.
i hate to generalize.
but i tink singaporeans tink they're above all.
as in i.e very proud and stuff.
esp. the young working population.
no offence to other people though.
if ur conscience is clear about how you treat and respect people.
you wun have to see this post as threatening in nature.
to cut the long story short.
basically there were these 2 people on the bus who were sitting behind me.
now i forgot to bring and extra tee to change and my uniform was dirty.
so i din change and went straight home.
but on the way.
these 2 "people" started complaning about some smell.
thinking that i would'nt hear them cos i was on my headphones.
but sadly.
they were talking so bloody loud i could hear them through my headphones.
saying things along the lines that i was damn smelly lah.
eg "wah smells like hvnt bathed in a week"
literally i was half a step from turning around and giving both of them 2 tight slaps lah.
can you imagine if you had a bad day in school and you still had to put up with such nonsense after school ended?
anyway thank goodness they got off the bus at suntec.
and after they got off the people around them were staring at them.
and they are working class professionals.
and ladies to be exact.
and no im not sexist.
i just think that people should just keep their own damn opinion to themselves.
i know im smelly. but you dont need to tell it to everyone.
and you dun have to make a big fuss out of it.
thank goodness my house is only a few stops away from suntec.
so i was still ok.
like i was so damn serious about staring at them if i got off earlier than them.
friggin no sense of tactness.
now you know why some people don't like singaporeans.
not making a big fuss out of a small thing.but its the principle behind it that counts.
