have you ever wondered why some things just happen?
coincidence?
chance?
or just plain bad luck?
well i believe in this world that those 3 don't exist.
everything comes as a result of what you do.
hard work's the only thing which can get you through this life.

this past few months of my life.
i've been asking myself.
is this what i want in life?
am i going to sit here and rot my arse away?
or am i going to go out there and fulfill my dreams?

im no psychologist.
but i know that the large majority of you who read this will say:
"wtf he walking? of course follow you dreams man"
but its not that simple.
if following your dreams means deviating from the mainstream society and its opinions of how to live life.
will you do it?
even if it means your family won't be pleased.
and that they will view you as the black sheep of the house.
will you still do it?

i suspect why singapore is still so underdeveloped in its arts culture is due to parental influence.
parents don't want their children to go into something which they think will not earn them a hefty sum of money.
they think that going into arts means losing a prospect for their son/daughter to be a lawyer/banker/doctor.
but hey think about the son/daughter's feelings when he/she is force to do something you don't want to do.
i mean to put it crudely. how would you feel if people just bring you like that to the gallows for no reason.
its the same.
ok. maybe for different families there are different reasons.
but spare a thought for the son/daughter.
even though they are your children.
they do have ambitions/dreams of their own.
if the child wanted to be a banker he/she'd have long ago been a banker already.
would he/she still need to be cajoled/persuaded/forced into doing something they rather they not do?
think about it.
or rather maybe the basic building block of this country is just screwed up.

to t.
maybe im wrong.
but if what i hear is correct.
thank you for moving on so quickly.
i might be sad. but hey it brings back memories when i think about the 9 months together.

anyway.
this coming 2007.
im starting up my own label
freedom terrorism.
its sort of a tee shirt/streetwear concept.
i do design/customising and a few others.
future plans for 2007 include collaborations with the good people from
tee-for-two (tee-for-two.blogspot.com)
and also a few others which are still in the works.

so au revoir people.
see you soon.
